EuroCup 2026-2027 Season Schedule Unveiled
Similar to the EuroLeague, the EuroCup has revealed its complete schedule for the 2026-2027 season. The revamped format promises a total of 224 regular-season games, running from Tuesday, September 29, 2026, to Wednesday, January 13, 2027. This will be followed by up to 45 additional playoff encounters.
Thirty-two teams will compete in the initial stage, divided into four groups of eight. These teams will face each other in a league format before advancing to the playoffs. The postseason will include Round of 16 ties (from Tuesday, February 2, to Friday, February 12), quarter-finals (from Tuesday, March 9, to Friday, March 19), semi-finals (from Wednesday, March 31, to Friday, April 9), and a final series (from Wednesday, April 21, to Friday, April 30). Each playoff series will be contested as a best-of-three.
The grand finale for the 2026-2027 EuroCup will feature Game 1 on Wednesday, April 21, Game 2 on Tuesday, April 27, and if necessary, Game 3 on Friday, April 30.
Strong Start for Three Betclic Elite Clubs
This season, three clubs from the Betclic Elite will participate in the competition. The reigning champions, JL Bourg, will commence their campaign with an away game against Naples on Wednesday, September 30, at 8:00 PM. Le Mans Sarthe Basket will have the honor of opening the season against Aris Thessaloniki on Tuesday, September 29, at 8:00 PM. Finally, AS Monaco – provided the club officially confirms its return to the Betclic Elite – will begin their journey on the road against Lietkabelis on Wednesday, September 30, at 7:30 PM.
